Gateway Scholarship Awards Program

The Gateway Scholarship Awards Program (GSAP) is established to provide financial assistance to members of Gateway who are attending one of the post-secondary institutions officially recognized and supported by the Christian Reformed Church of North America (CRCNA)



Scholarship from $500-2,000 (CAD) available


Important Dates (2026)

  • Applications open on April 1
  • Application submission closes on May 1
  • Successful Candidates will be notified by May 25
  • Funding documents from successful Candidate will need to submitted by July 1
  • Scholarship will be mailed directly to the Institution by the end of  August (unless other arrangements have be made and approved) 

Am i eligible?

All applicants must:

  1. Read through the GSAP guidelines.
  2. Be a member of Gateway for at least one year prior to the stated application deadline
  3. Submit a completed application form
  4. Be enrolled with one of the 9 CRCNA recognized post-secondary institutes
  5. Confirm full time, in person, enrolment in one of the above institutions and tuition payment plan.

  • I understand that the information provided in this application will be kept secure and confidential.
  • I certify that the information submitted in this application is accurate and I commit to updating the gateway Scholarship Awards Team if any of the information changes at any time.
  • I understand that the Gateway Scholarship will be paid directly to the post-secondary institution that I am enrolled in, and I commit to providing any or all necessary information to Gateway to facilitate this process.
  • I understand that the amount of the Gateway Scholarship provided to each individual will be dependent on the number of applicants and will not exceed the amount of $2000.
  • I understand that if I withdraw from my studies prior to the end of the second semester, I will refund Gateway Community Church the funds I received from the bursary.
